What would you say if it was coming this month or very early next month. Of course don't expect everyone to get it at the same time. All I have to say is watch for that major upgradE........

I read on *another* site that it will be with a 1.6 update (we're on v.1.2 now), but he said they could go up several versions in one night! ???

So you are the att premtech that I thought you were.. But, why would you go and say something like this? It's simply not correct for the vast majority of people who are going to read this post.

Giving out bad information is worse than giving out no information at all. Just ask anybody here who has awaited a launch date only to find out that they were not included at that time, or that the implementation time itself was pushed back.

He didn't specify any area. He's making a general prediction for Uverse as a whole. That is what I disagree with. If he wants to specify an area, and its the correct area, then that is fine with me.

It's like saying that everyone is getting cisco stb's, when thats only true in chicago. ............

Goot who said I was a prem tech ? I would never do that job I've seen the guy when he came to my house and he goes into the attic that's 100degrees to hot for my likening. I am not in west Houston. There is info all over the web and uverseusers about the tv client update. View the link posted by someone and look for yer self.Just look around and you can find what you wish.

Alright, I take it all back. I did a user search and didn't come up with any screenname's similar to yours, and I reviewed a few of your past posts, so based on that I have no idea why I started thinking you were a premtech. Take it as a compliment as I thought you were extremely knowledgeable.

Anyways, I would like to focus a little bit on this info that is all over the web and on UU, etc about the client update. I'm sure that you must have found something with actual implementation dates on it, right? Or did you just find info similar to what Pip showed us earlier from the investor notes? Basically all I'm getting at is that unless you can bring up a URL with dates on it, that you shouldn't get people's hopes up because right now according to your first post we can all expect this thing to happen much sooner than it will really happen, which is just flat out wrong.

not to get you all excited, but they have indeed started training for the THDVR, i personally have yet to start it, but the deadline to finish the training is less than 2 weeks.

Thanks. That is why I provided the link to UU since the Tech there said he had completed the training. No there was not a rollout date but the fact that training for the system is happening is substantial news.

They must be getting close to the rollout of thdvr and information is getting leaked. I wouldn't be surprised if they did a quiet rollout where they ask the recipients not to post that they have it. But that would be a stretch. But threads are vanishing suddenly and the mods are speaking up, that didn't happen before. It will be a nice surprise whenever it rolls out because a formal announcement may not come for months after the rollout has begun. IMHO

Standard disclaimer, but more than one phone tech has mentioned they are testing it now in some areas; one said Houston, but I find that hard to believe.

So whenever it was mentioned about mid-August for it to start, maybe that was for testing?

Pair bonding was supposed to come out around the same time as WHDVR according to the 1st quarter update (WHDVR 2q-3q, PB 4q). Has anyone heard anything about pair bonding?
