The first problem I had with AT&T was getting billed for months at the wrong price and not the promised promotional price. Alex helped me and after many phone calls I got credited for the wrong payment price.
I really hoped I was done dealing with AT&T's customer service. I mean, really hoped for it. However, just a few months after getting that fixed another error occured. YAYYY
I moved and wanted to transfer my DSL to my new house address. I called AT&T and was informed that DSL was not offered at the new location, but UVerse was. I got out of my DSL account and put into their promotional deal (around 20 a month). Apparently the salesman didn't cancel my DSL account and I have been paying my DSL account and not my Uverse account.
Fastforward to today, I get a letter saying I am about to get my service cut off because I havent made a payment.
PHONE CALL TIME
1. Call Uverse, the woman has the hardest time understanding that it sounds like I have two accounts settup.
2. Talk to a gentleman, sounds like he knows what needs to get done to fix it, put on hold.
3. The woman supposebly can't hear me and we "lose" conneciton.
END PHONE CALL, CALL BACK
4. Call DSL, woman understands and credits me the money. However, when I explain that I was never told I would be getting issued an equipment and conection fee she replies that I shouldn't be getting a promotional rate either. So it sounds like I'm the lucky one here.
ALEX HELP ME AGAIN!! Why am I about to pay a connection fee and an equipment fee when the saleswoman NEVER mentioned it, just mentioned the awesome deal and the fact it was contract free.
I wasted an hour and a half getting this all "fixed." I want some compensation for having to deal with the twice now.
