ATT does not honor contract

I'm not going to bore you with the long story of how ATT promises you a package deal and then charges you what ever they want after the install. All you have to do is read the many many posts in the forum about the billing department. The one that best describes my situation is the gentleman that posted "THE BAIT AND SWITCH" in the forum. The only difference is he is deal only dealing with his problem since November 2011 were as I have been going through it since April 2011.
Every single month since April I have been on the phone with ATT for at least (the record) 45 minutes and the most 2 hours. Every month when I get my bill I mark the calendar for the day and time I would be calling them and I leave word with everyone "DO NOT BOTHER ME FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR, CALLING ATT AGAIN ABOUT MY BILL". It's bad enough being put on hold for 10 to 15 minutes but the initial call takes sometime 20 minutes for someone to even answer. Since this whole thing started I have been keeping notes on the people that answered the initial phone call, and the supervisors I'm always transferred to so I can tell the whole story again. I have supervisors names, ID numbers, dates, time of day I called and how long each phone call took. The best part of each phone call nightmare (which makes me laugh everytime) is when they say "Oh Mr. (fedup with bellsouth) I do apologize for this problem you are having, but be assured I will fix this so it will not happen again" Come on don't insult my intelligence. 10 months with the service, 10 plus phone calls to ATT and 10 plus this will not happen again.
They promise you a 12 month promotional price and after service starts they tell you "oh that promo was only for 3 months and that promo never existed" Every month I call and every month I'm credited the difference, why not just HONOR YOUR PROMISED PROMOTION! It's not worth the hassle anymore. So if next months bill has the same problem U-Verse is gone that's internet, TV. and phone cancel, cancel, cancel. I've already checked into Brighgthouse and they offer a much better deal for all 3 services and a 24 month plan. Plus download speeds of 40 megs. If you have the same kind of problem just cancel, if enough people say "screw me! No, screw you. To ATT they will take notice and start treating people as "we need you, not you need us"!!!

If you can actually get better service from Brighthouse, and you are not under contract with U-verse, why would you not switch regardless of whether or not you have billing issues with U-verse?

Since I switched to U-verse in the summer 2011 , everytime I received the monthly bill, I had to go to the store where I ordered the service and to spend an hour or so to straight out the amount.
For example, my previous bill was $47.27 including $4.31 for account charges. The current bill is $49.43 with account charges $6.47. I went to the store again, the clerk dialed the AT&T U-verse billing department, we waited for about 10 minutes without any one answering. I had to leave the store for running other errands.
Then I tried to contact AT&T Uverse by e-mail. I went to "contact us", but I did not know to how to " contact us " because it has been designed for specific subjects by following step 1, step 2, step3 , each step with many options, each option with more options, but none deals with disputes. Finally I gave up.
My contracted monthly charges is $45 for one year. I was told that, after tax, my bill will be around $47. But the amount on my new bill is $49.43 due to the account charges now jumped from $4.31 to $6.47, an increase of 50%, because the tax increased 50%?
Hurrah America!!! The fiscal difficit will disappear soon!!!
