we don't have u-verse tv available in my neighborhood and i get really tired of seeing the ads on tv about how wonderful it is. it's not wonderful if it's not even available. and the irritating thing is that at&t can't even estimate when or if it will ever be available. another thing is that for 3 months when i had high speed internet and was being charged for it, i wasn't really getting the speed i was paying for. and the customer reps swore to me that i was getting those speeds. and whenever i call them with a question, the reps try to sell me the fastest speeds that won't be available until fiber optic wiring is installed in my area. the overcharge was refunded to me after a service man checked to confirm that the speed was not what i was paying for, but it seems like their customer reps are really inept at serving their public.
at&t's commercials are misleading. but what is really troublesome that at&t seems to be completely disinterested in making what they advertise available to those of us who don't have it. and there is no solution.

Since you feel that AT&T's customer reps are inept, instead of posting messages complaining that you cannot get the U-verse service you should be doing a happy dance that you are not a customer.
