I have had AT&T internet service since last August and recently got AT&T U-verse TV in late January, I can't believe I am waiting this long to cancel it. First, I was told when I signed up that I would be getting a $150 rebate for being a student at The University of West Florida, which is the only reason I signed up. I brought the rebate form and my student ID to the local AT&T store just as the salesman said. They told me I didn't have to do anything, and that my rebate would come to me in the mail. Well, it's May, and I still haven't gotten anything. I have not been pleased with the bills I have been recieving either, one month I was charged an extra $10 for my internet service and an additional $20 for movie channels I did not order. Very annoying.
As far as the quality of service, I cannot believe how often the internet (and therefore, the TV) cuts out. On an average week, my service will come and go for at least a day. Recently, my internet has been cutting out the majority of the time. Awful. I am a graduate student and need the internet for research, submitting assingments, etc.
I will be canceling my TV service today (finally), but since my apartment complex is AT&T only, I need to keep the internet. All I can say is that I really hope it gets better. Until then, I will not be recommending AT&T to anyone I know. I really hope you resolve all your issues.

If you are still interested in getting your issue resolved I have a suggestion. Send Jamileh a PM she is an ATT Community Manager on the forum. She will get you to the right person/dept.
