Door to Door Sales Rep Lied -- where to lodge complaint?

Who do the door to door sales people work for that sell the AT&T U-verse products? I have been on hold with AT&T and when I finally got a rep, they couldn't tell me anything.

I want to lodge a complaint against the guy that came to my door in Akron, Ohio a couple of days ago. He promised me everything (including installation today that didn't happen), a gift card for $150 and so many other things that were untrue. I am so angry.

Would someone point me in the right direction? This guy shouldn't be allowed to misrepresent like this.

The door to door salespeople are not AT&T employees but are 3rd party contractors. I don't know what he offered you and why you say it was not true, but send a PM to Alex who is an AT&T Community Manager on this forum.

Also, check the settings on your account to make sure that you will receive email notification when a PM is received on this forum.

I found out it was all untrue when I called today to find out about service that was supposed to start today. That pretty much got the ball rolling with all of the other information that was untrue -- i.e. number of boxes, free high def, gift card, ....
