Good News - Thanks U-Verse

My 6 month introductory discounts of $53 expired at the end of December. So, I upgraded from U200 to U300 and got discounts of $39 for 12 months. I didn't realize I would also get a rebate. I just got a notice in the mail and went on-line to redeem my $50 rebate card. I already received rebate cards worth $150. Thanks U-Verse.

More good news. My U-Verse bill posted today. It's the first bill since my 6 month discounts expired and I switched from U200 to U300. I half expected errors based on other people's post, but everything was correct including all my new discounts. I have a hard time believing U-Verse is as inept as some people would have you think.

I agree, I do sympathize with those who do have problems, but AT&T is not nearly as bad as every that comes in here with a problem claims. ALL customer service departments have some bad agents, shoot where I work I deal with customer service on a daily basis and I feel bad for our customers some of the time. The problem is our customer service is based out of Manila and when we finally get good agents that know what they are doing, they start demanding more money. When they don't get what they are wanting, the either go across the hall to Mastercard, Visa, etc. Many places have multiple companies under one roof. There are also facilities like that in India where entire cities are based around these complexes. Even companies that have US based customer service, it's usually a minimum wage job or only slightly higher and many of the people who take these types of jobs just don't care.

I received my $50 rebate card in the mail today. It took 13 days from the day I requested it. I upgraded from U200 to U300 in mid-December. Excellent customer service.
