The current episode of my continuing Rebate Saga:
(Previously, I ordered where it said I would get $100 for ordering online. I got only one $50 rebate card. I've called several times, the last time I called "too soon" after the previous call where I spoke to a gentleman from Customer Service and a nice lady from Rewards who put through a reinstatement request).
I called and was told that my reinstatement request was denied by a supervisor. So I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put "Mona" on the line. Mona confirmed my account number and then said "I must have called to change something." I said I called during the install because the installer suggested it, and confirmed that "my rebates would not be affected" by that call. I said I was still waiting on my remaining $50 and that I had been patient but it had been nearly 3 months since my install. Okay, that was paraphrased and much shorter and during the actual version, Mona hung up on me.
My friends have recommended contacting the SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, but they will require a physical address for the company. I'll have to dig one up.

The redemption center is a 3rd party vendor and as such they have to follow the rules in place by AT&T and that includes disconnection of a call. The only time that a manager can terminate a call is if you became verbally abusive....
