I am new to u-verse & need help

I have received my first bill & it is $49 above the quoted price on my contract I signed on for. I have tried to call the phone number ending in 2020 & keep getting a recording telling me to call that exact same number. My contract & channel cards I was given said HD channels are included, they were not active & when I called I was told it's NOT part of the package but I could "try them out for a month". I have tv & internet only. 1 other thing, why do the screens frequently go blue with instructions to push OK to reconnect? Even with all this I am still MUCH HAPPIER than with Direct TV, so far. I just need to know where I can actually get answers, everywhere I try I can't get the answer. Can someone please help me. ![]()

Sure that $49 is not a prorated amount for the period before your billing month started? CS is available 8-7 M-F, 8-5 Sat local time, TS is available 24/7/365. ![]()

For what it is worth, I just got my U-Verse (U300 and 18Mbs internet) installed this past weekend, so will not see a bill for close ot six weeks or so. While the installation fee was waived, I was told that my first bill will not come until the end of June, will include a pro-rated period for the end of May, and would include a one-time fee of $49.00 for account set up.
