A salesman came by my house one day last month and talked me into what seemed like a good deal, Uverse 300 with free movie channels, free Latino package, free hd, and 12mb internet for 78 dollars a month. Well lesson learned, never buy anything from door to door sales ever again. My bill was around 203 dollars and I was not happy I was lied to. I did read the contract on the back of the service order and there was no yearly agreements and there was a 30 day money back guarantee. I call AT&T the day I got my bill and cancel everything. I only had the service on for 2 weeks. Retentions told me I wouldn't pay anything since I cancelled within the 30 day period, and that I would receive and updated bill by mail within a week that would show a zero for the balance owed. I shipped off the devices by UPS the next day and thought that everything was taken care of. 2 weeks pass and no bill arrives. I called tonight and was told by billing that I still owe the original amount of 203 dollars, and I get transferred to retentions to resolve the issue. I explain to "Justin" from retentions, what had happened, and he replied very confidently that there was no money back guarantee and proceeded to lecture me on how businesses need to make money, and that nothing is offered for free. I was FURIOUS! He refused to budge and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Im EXTREMELY angry and confused as to why I'm being treated this way. I need to speak to someone with authority to resolve my issue, which is to make that balance a zero as promised!

Recieved a call from "Tammy" on Thursday December 14th and explained to her my situation. She assured me the problem would be taken care of and she would investigate the matter further. I was told by her that I would recieve a call the next day. Its been 4 days since I heard from anyone and my account is now overdue by a day by the full original amount. I'm really frustated at this whole situation. Why is it so hard to just take care of the problem? I was lied to, I canceled within 30 days, and I should not have to pay anything! The 30 day money back guarentee is right there on at&t's own website! http://www.att.com/u-verse/explore/offer-details.j
