From day one I have been given the run around with at&t with my billing. Tired of it. I was told my service will be only $20 a month and my first bill is over $200. Can't pay it and won't get any help with them. So canceling service and not going to get anything from them again. They won't even work with me! I am going to tell everyone about them and to not get thier services.

I wish I would have found this forum 6 months ago before I got ATT. They have been overbilling me from the start. It started at $6 a month over and my recent bill is about $30 over. And they bill you in partial month cycles so when you inquire they just blame it on the promotion changing in the middle of the billing cycle. I am just glad I didn't add them for cel service also like I was going to do.

I totally agree with you. I wish I would have researched this service before I signed up. My bill is over $240 and I was told there would be a one time charge of $49 and I have charges on my bill that I have not been told about. The day my service was installed, I got a billing summary in the mail. I called about the bill and was told that I had to call back in a few days because they would not have access to the bill for a few days. How can you mail out a bill and not have any record of i?. This took place a week ago and I have been on the phone with 3 different people since then. I have called again today and got a rep and after explaining this situation again, she puts me on hold and transfers me to who knows where and I get an automated line stating that they are closed!!!

I contacted Alex yesterday. I am told that it can take up to 72 hours for a response. Hopefully, I will get some resolution from this. We will see.

I am going thru something similar. I had moved and owed only 50.52 on old acct. I didn't realize I had given my new acct. # for this particular amount when I paid it. The bill stated I paid that amount but, it wasn't deducted. I still paid full amount owed on new acct. I went from person to person before they realized they were wrong. This was the first time. A month went by. I paid my bill and now this month it's all over again. My bill states the correct amount I owe. I pay over the phone. It says I owe more than the paper. I call, tell several people including stupidvisor that it was settled according to the person I talked to on a certain date. All she said repeatedly is I owe and I repeatedly said I don't. I at this point spent over an hour just to get that. I was very verbal and consistent with f.u. We somehow got disconnected. They did not call me back nor I them. It says this conversation may be recorded and or monitored. I wish I would have recorded the lady that told me it was taken care of and I am current. Oh, the 50.52 went to collections even though I paid! You would think they would not give me service if I didn't pay an outstanding bill. This is my 3rd maybe 4th using att throughout 12 yrs. I knew better! I deserve to be punished, but not by them. I will record my next conversation and I will get someone again to admit they were wrong again. I will then say now please direct me to the cancel my service dept. I can do without the TV. I like the internet. Do you have any suggestions where to get high speed internet other than att?
