OVERCHARGE D ACCOUNT 8 MONTHS OUT OF 9!

I am extremely frustrated (but reading other posts it sounds like I'm not alone)! When I signed up for AT&T they had a promotion for $14.95/month for U-verse internet. After the first bill they then told me they didn't even have the speed they offered to get me to sign up available in my area, so I took the next best. They spelled my name wrong on the account and charged me for an account change when I called to correct the spelling...so I had to call again! Every month they bill the full amount instead of the promotional amount and every time I call they say a credit will show on my account to bring my bill down to $14.95 and that it won't be wrong next month. I'm told that they'll credit me the difference and that it's fixed for good. I shouldn't have to call back again. I've always been friendly on the phone because I know it's not necessarily the person's fault with who I'm talking to, but come on ...8 months is horrible business practice! I feel it's not even worth the hassle to have AT&T U-VERSE if every month I have to sit on hold and waste my time to get my bill temporarily corrected. Wouldn't AT&T like that if I just paid extra?! I'm waiting for a manager to call in...3-5 business days!! Who do I have to talk to get this resolved for good?

I've experienced a similare ordeal and have had zero luck with any representatives or supervisors in having it corrected.
I finally appealed to the BBB and filed a complaint against AT&T.
I recommend you consider doing the same.
It may be one of the best options in having AT&T be held accountable to their promotional rates.
If they aren't going to honor it as they say they will, they shouldn't be making it available in the first place.
Just my two cents from another disgruntled customer.
