What do you know? I have once again been screwed over by AT&T. After the nightmare I went through to get service, rest assured that I asked multiple, multiple times, how long the service discounts would be valid before continuing through the six weeks it took to even get a technician to my house. When the technician first came, I still didn't get service, as the lines were damaged. However, I thought everything had finally settled down. A month in, I had billing issues, and now six months in, I have even more billing issues, as I just received a bill $50 higher than the previous six months. When I called to find out why my prices were increased, I was informed that I should never have been told in the first place that I would have a set price for a year, that AT&T cannot guarantee prices for any amount of time. So, now I am stuck with $50 more per month for the terrible customer service that is AT&T. I would rather go without cable and internet than put up with this company.

Call back and speak to another CSR about that issue. If they are still uncooperative send Alex a PM he is an ATT Community Manager on the forum.

I spoke to someone yesterday that said they would adjust my bill, and I soon received an email with a link to my account with a 'fake' bill to show me how it will look in the future. However, my current bill is still way too high. How does this whole prorated bill thing work? My current bill is equal to what 3 monthly bills would be with the new rates.
