We were longtime (2003) AT&T customers until we experienced a house fire in December. We have had nothing but trouble with service, technical support, and billing since that time. I spoke with a customer service representative over two weeks ago regarding a charge for 204.00 to install a modem at the temporary rental home we currently occupy. She was with Tier Two Customer Retention and I assumed she would be true to her word and would actually credit the charges. The two charges totaling 204.00 plus tax are still on the account. We were promised UVerse Service and when the technician finally arrived 10 days after the promised install date, he said we could not have UVerse. He installed a cable and brought a modem. He just neglected to mention he was also charging 100.00 for the install and 104.00 for a modem. The funny thing is . . . the bill still reads AT&T UVerse DSL. I would really appreciate someone actually taking care of this situation. You can have the modem back as soon as we leave as we will not be keeping DSL, landline, or television with AT&T.
