I cancelled my At&t uverse bill back in March weeks before the end of the billing cycle payment. I asked the service provider to cancel it at the end of the billing cycle so there would be no more payments. I recently received a bill in June saying that I owed charges for an entire month of additional service and the rate for $15 higher than our normal rate was. After calling customer service the first gentleman I talk to was great, Mr.. Johnson I believe, and he said the service had been cut off and he could not explain the charges, when I was transferred to another department I got a very rude man who told be the charges were for up until April 1st. Considering my previous bill ended in the middle of March I told him that the service was suppose to be cut off at the end of the billing cycle that was already paid and not suppose to continue until the end of the month and that the previous customer service representative said my current bill at the time was my last bill. He told me to hold after being very rude and acting like I was dumb for suggesting the charges and disconnected me to the main menu. I have dealt with At&t services for the last time, I have been on hold before for 3 hours, had multiple rude customer service representatives and am astonished such a large company can't afford to hire a better trained staff, especially with all of the excessive overcharges and fees they continuously charge!
