Does anyone know why our charges keep going up, they just went up another 5%?

The reason is the extreme greed of AT&T. Althought I don't agree with the increase in the package costs, I can understand them. The increase that has absolutely no plauable reason or justification is the increase in the cost of the gateway device from $4 to $6 per month. I didn't receive a new device; my service has not improved in the least; the connection drops 4 or 5 times a week; every two to three days, I have to power cycle the device; the turbo max speed is not available in my area....so what am I paying $2 more per month for!

New channels, higher negotiated prices for current channels, improved equipment, upgraded IPTV encoders, etc.
They go up every February on Uverse, usually less than other provider prices go up, many times more than once per year. ![]()

Just an opinion ~ to cover the ridiculously low prices of what they are giving the "First Time New Customers" when signing up. Getting fixed prices for a year now is a whole lot better than what was being offered 4 - 6 months ago.
So when OUR sign up prices run out & we have to start paying who knows what, they get to add another 5% onto it.
Certainly hope it's as good as what the new ones are getting. Take that by how many hundreds of thousands of ppl signed up times a 5% increase. I'd say they're doing pretty darn good.
FYI - That's on a U-Verse Internet/TV Bundle Package w/HD, 4 Receivers with only 1 being a promo all the time, Modem rental, & equip rental.

If it goes bad, they replace it free. It has to be paid for in some fashion. ![]()
