actually a joke...
i called in and dropped a cable internet connection, to get a dsl line.
of course the rep i talk to at first was awesome.
had to pay a connection charge, buy my modem, i got a rebate because i changed over to att. etc
all i wanted was the dsl internet.
what i was offered was internet for the first year at 19.95, i think what a 6, 7 mb connection
heres my first bill, wrong that seems to be always expected these days.
i call in, well hey this rep was nice. she adjusts my account, saying oh it's a 2 month wait time for a promotion to kick in.
ok, i started new service. makes no sense why a promotion would not start, when i actually start my service....
next month, yea bills wrong.
called in, got adjusted, got transfered to rewards center or whatever, they gave me a run around again with the 2 month wait... ok well this almost my 3rd
again, bill is wrong.
i dont want to argue with a phone rep, they are just the first line of contact... but thats thier job
called in, the rep basically told me to pay the bill and the adjustments will incur when my promotion starts...
ok i paid a $50 bill, when i accepted a 19.95 per month for one year rate.
maybe i'm just gullable
this month, yep it's wrong, i'm at some 29.95 rate i dont see any adjustments from my $50 bill i paid.
i called in, explained my situation, again, every month i've had to do this....
had to been on the phone with the rep close to an hour, waiting on a supervisor to assist....
i asked the rep to call me back when he finally was able to get in touch with this unreachable supervisor.
i use a cellphone, cant miss me.
yet no attempt was made to call me back.
i called in today, and this rep, yea she didnt want to hear my problems. her tone went immediately to ick, well so is mine!
i guess she read some notes but proceeded to tell me that the offer i'm talking about 19.95 ended back in june or july or what ever month, so thats why i dont get it, i only get a 29.95 rate...
at this point, yep i'm over talking to att. exspecially if i got to call them up to try to get anything resolved.
so long story short.
felt like bait and swap from get go
always in a loop on thier phone systems, just to get to someone that actually can handle requests on my type of account.
sure the internet works as expected, it works
but this bill, i never agreed to in the first place.
