Call support while it's down and have them run tests.

I have the same problem between 12:15AM and 12:45 AM. I called tech support while this was happening and they did some tests and said that everything was ok. The tech wanted to know how my picture was. I had no picture, only the blue lost signal screen. He said that was not possible as no outage was being reported in my area. He put me on hold for 4 minutes. When he returned I was told an outage had been reported in my area. Yes, by me. Where does ATT get its help? I still have these nightly disruptions and I was told that a tech needs to come out. It is only going to cost me $149.00.

You will only be charged the fee if they find the issue is your fault. If there is a problem with your service, you will not be charged.

That is not what Carolyn in tier ll tech support told me. She said if it is my fault the fee is $149.00. If it is faulty equipment the fee is a flat $99.00. If she is incorrect she needs education on the company policy and procedures and should not be giving incorrect info to customers.
