I signed up for Uverse April of 2011 because I can't sign up for anything else, the subdivision 1 mile away has Comcast but our Apartments have some deal which I think is complete **, I signed up for the 15 speed with the U-300, I had 16 speed when I had Comcast & I could do anything, Netflix, YouTube, watch HD channels, play online games with no problems at all even when I did them all at the same time, with AT&T my Netflix buffers or it's not in HD, online games are patchy & trying to watch a 2 min video on you tube with a wireless laptop take 30 min some times, so over the past 12 months I have had a so called tech out on a average of every 6 weeks, every time a tech is out they really have done nothing, had the 2wire replaced twice but by the time they leave they make a phone call & the Internet will be lightening fast for 2-3 weeks, out of frustration between phone calls I have up graded my service twice, 1st time from 15-18, 2nd time 18-24, I thought that would help but no, the last time a tech was out was 3 weeks ago & know all of the sudden it is slow as h$ll again, last night on Netflix my picture was terrible, hardwired, I turned off both cable boxes, my wife's laptop, anything that was connected, my picture went to hd, I told my wife to turn her laptop back on and right back to a terrible picture, so 24 speed with AT&T can not do 1/4 of the things Comcast could do with only a 15 speed, so I shut everything off, 2wire, comp, cable boxes, then I turned 2 wire back on, then I turned on my iPad, did some speedtests all over the apt, the highest reading I got was a7 wirelessly 6 inches from the 2wire, so I turned on my wired computer & did speedtest from the same servers & the speed was anywhere from 3-24, it jumped up & down constantly, I am so sick of calling AT&T, it's like routine, I almost want to set up a appointment for every 4 weeks cause its like a clock, the techs come, walk around, tell me some ** story that a uneducated person would believe, make a phone call & it works perfect for 2-3 weeks, I would not recommend & have actually told people to get other service, it is by far the worst service I have had since I first signed up for high speed Internet which has been at least 10 years, get Comcast if you can, I have made for phone calls to AT&T in 12 months than I have to Comcast in 10 years
