Bad start.

First I don't really remember what the rebate amount was for the u200, internet and phone, but I am sure it was 200 dollars ( I never printed my order and the details aren't in the email order confirmations. My fault, so maybe it was only a 100) back in the beginning of December of 2011.
I had an install date of Dec 23rd and about two weeks before that Att called me to say that my previous carrier would not release my phone number as it wasn't active. I called my previous carrier and they said everything was fine and that the didn't recieve the notice. I called att back and they resubmitted the request. The day before the install. I got another call from att saying my previous carrier said my phone number was inactive and the would not release the phone number. Each time att called, they called me on the number that I wanted to switch, so I knew it was active. So the next day the installer came. I told them that they said they had issues swapping my number, he stated that everything looked fine, then I played the message the att had left. He said that was weird, since the phone was active. So he set everything up and the phone did not work with att. He got on the line with a tech and they stated that the request was sent incorrectly from att and I would have to wait until the Jan 17th. Also they had problems with the backup batteries and he told me one would be delivered.
So Jan 17th came and I received the battery backup and I was able to cancel my other carrier finally. Then a couple days latter I saw my bill had a charge of 15 dollars for a phone service order. Which I called customer service and they promptly removed.
I was also refered from a friend and my friend and I should of received 25 dollars for each service that I ordered for a total of 75 dollars each. We both only received 50 dollars, for my tv and internet order. Now I have to call back again. bah
