Communicat ion is poor within the ATT system

Two years ago ATT set up my wireless account and misspelled my name. I caught it and had them correct it. Instead of correcting the name, they set up a second account for the same phone number and same street address then proceeded to bill me for two accounts. I fought for almost a year and the second account was sent to collections. I finally got someone to listen to me and the second account was cancelled but nothing was done to correct my credit. I swore I would never use ATT again.
Unfortunately, I moved recently and decided to try them again for internet and home phone. I have now spent 6 1/2 hours on the phone, had 3 "confirmations" of appointments for someone to come to my home to "fix" the internet problem. The order was placed almost 5 weeks ago and I have been passed to people all over the world. Some have sworn I have no home phone (although I was calling from it) while others said I had no internet account. Some said I had DSL and others said I had u-verse. Another said the tech did not complete the job because he could not get into my front yard...I live in an apartment...there is no front yard. Last week I spoke with a supervisor named Jordan. He swore that he would resolve the issue and that he would be the last person I would talk to. He was right on that count...neither he, nor anyone else has talked to me since!
Day before yesterday I called yet again. After an hour I gave up and said cancel my account. Was told I had to go online to do so.....unfortunately, since I still did not have internet at home, could not do so. Now am at work trying to cancel the account no one can find correctly and I fully expect I will be billed for service I have never had - whether DSL or U Verse or who knows which one they will eventually decide I have, or don't have. I trust they will not charge me for early cancellation but have NO confidence of that either. I WILL NEVER USE ATT AGAIN AND WILL NOT REFER THEM TO ANYONE!
