I'm in the same boat! I've had 4 techs come to my home. Another one coming tomorrow. Are there lemmon laws that apply to your internet connection?
I agree with the above posts. The cold-windy weather is causing the service drops. The guys has replaced stuff so many times. They have sent me a new router. They keep wanting to blaim my equipment- when AT-Ts box keeps blinking red or doesn't blink all accross. Unfortunately I'm under a stupid contract. Can I get out of it is the question?
Oh get this: Each Tech that comes to my house says that the last tech screwed it up. They are all bone-heads. At&T is one large mom and pop operation.
It reminds me of papa and grandma joe in Canadian Bacon running the power grid for Ottawa.

I am constituently having my TV's either getting pixel issues or the whole thing goes black! And also my DHCP on my wireless router as to be reboot because it will not hand out leases! A tech tried to tell me that it is a channel issue so he changed the channel, guess what it still not working correctly! Imam outside of the 3000ft that is the max of a connection! They have the ability to run a second or bonded pair to try to help in the issue but they (AT&T) wont!

Man,,your post sounds exactly like the nightmare I have been dealing with from AT&T. I have heard every excuse in the book, been passed from one department to the next, and now know a couple of techs on a first name basis,,lol But has my service been corrected? Nope.

Agreed. I have been trying to get resolution to my phone service (no dial tone or static) for more than two months. Worst customer service of any entity which wHich I have dealt and that is saying something.
