Although my issue began as a a technical issue, it has now become a customer service issue. I have had technical issues with Uverse since we signed up. The technicians that I have dealt with have been amazing. (I wish they answered the phones, too)
I can even understand that Uverse is relatively new to my community and that there will be some growing pains. What I can not understand is why it took 3 hours, 5 reps, 3 (or 4?) supervisors, 2 disconnects, and endless minutes of hold time to try and resolve my issue. Out of all this time and all these people there was only one person that I felt listened, processed, and moved forward with a resolution. Unfortunately, he only identified my technical problem. The supervisors were incredibly condescending and somewhat dismissive. I was also given conflicting information. By the end of the call I felt defeated and disheartened. And I will admit that by this time I was not an easy person to deal with. I hate that I was driven to that. This is not what I was expecting from AT&T. I had it in my mind that they set the bar when it came to service and customer satisfaction, but only person today truly cared if they had done a good job and helped me. Now I am embarrassed that I recommended AT&T to my neighbors.
