I had a knock on my door again from the door to door Uverse sales people. Started their big pitch about Uverse and how fiber was just laid to the building(Nothing dug up, I known where the dslam is at). That I should drop my current provider for internet , TV, phone and get Uverse. Now this is where it gets good. I dropped the TV portion of Uverse in late Dec. of 2011 and went back to Direct TV because of to many record conflicts and my wife NOT be able to watch TV during the records(record 5 HD streams now, main TV, tuners on other 2 TVs to watch their own steam). I kept the phone and 12 meg internet services. BUT sir you have charter per the Uverse Door to Door sales person. I told the goofs that I have phone and internet thru AT&T and Direct TV. Then they tell me I can't have Direct TV because it's against the apartment mangements rules. Funny thing is, complex has dish on the Club house! Uverese Tv is great if you don't record has much stuff as my household. Door to Door Uverse sales people remind me of Uses Car Salesman. Anything to make a buck!

Per the FCC, an apartment cannot prohibit you from installing a satellite dish as long as you have your own balcony/patio.
