I first got u-verse in 2009 and switched to comcast about 3 months ago. Comcast can't get there billing right and have been double billing me since I started so I'm done with them. When I had u-verse before, I was limited to 2 HD channels and the highest internet I could get was the 12 MB plan, but I never really got the 12. I would get buffering all the time trying to watch an HDX on Vudu with that being all that was using internet.
When I signed up yesterday, I selected the U450 and it also allowed me to select the Max Plus 18 MB internet. Anyone know if they have upgraded anything in the last few months to really allow me to get the faster internet? When I had uverse before, I was not on bonded pair or whatever it's called. It was a phone line coming in to house to RG, and RG went to DVR. I had coax going from RG out to splitter to feed 2 other boxes. I also tried 2 wireless receivers which were actually really nice and worked better than I thought. I plan on calling in to order 2 more of those to replace 2 of the wired I'm getting installed today. It didn't allow me to select the wireless when I signed up online.
Anyways, I hope for a better experience, more importantly better service and picture quality this time around. I may end up keeping my comcast internet as I've never seen below 29 MB/s on my speed tests.

Stick with Comcast, I left for the same reasons, but I would rather call them once a month to fix my bill than deal with all the att junk.
