I was a happy Uverse customer for almost 2 years, and a year before that under a difference account name. . . until few months ago when internet connection began to drop on a daily multiple occuring basis, and TV signal lost at least once a day for no reason. Often time have to reset RG multiple times and leave it to rest for an extended period of times. I would pay more for Fios if they have it in my area. Thinking about switching to less costly higher internet speed (30Mb) of TWC though, only that their reputation is not so good either.

To get things fixed right, I'd contact David and his tier2 team here:

Follow the directions under TROUBLES w/UVerse or install problems and hopefully they will solve your problem, let us know what happens. Good luck. ![]()

Mibrnsurg, I am a network engineer with over 20 years of experience, 13 professional certifications, and own a computer and networking company I started back in 1989. I can actually assist the user through private message by asking various troubleshooting questions to figure out where the problem might be based on the information he can provide regarding his environment, what information he can discover from the diagnostic utilities built into the router, and other information that he can provide. Doing this will allow us to determine whether the problem is a bad gateway, something internal to his location, or something outside and on the table for AT&T to repair.

So, if your going to type it in a private message, why not just type it here in the original thread so others may benefit from the information.
Unless, of course, you're planning on charging for your "private assistance"
