Linking my AT&T Access ID and Primary Billing Account

I am having trouble linking my AT&T Access ID and my Primary Billing Account. It is possible that I am not using the correct username and/or ID, but I cannot find any information on how to find the correct ID and password if I am. Am I correct in thinking that to link these two accounts, I have to use the ID and Password that I set up the U-Verse with in the first place?
I'm new to this, and I could just be missing something, so any help would be greatly appreciated. This is effecting my ability to pay my bill, please help.

I'm not sure what accounts you are trying to link, but no linking of accounts is necessary. You log into your U-verse account with your primary account log in (email address and password). The email address is the one assigned to the account at the time of your install. It is the one used to register your U-verse internet access.

What can I do if I can't remember the e-mail for the setup account?

I have no idea what you mean by u-verse account. But I know what the question is about. I am constantly confusing my email log in and pw with my bill paying login and pw. Your technology keeps telling me I need to link the accounts in order to see my bill. I get very frustrated about that. There should be one login and password for it all. Make it secure for the one. But make it just the one. You tech guys are smart, but sometimes you forget, not all us customers are techno savy. If your instructions are going to tell us to do something then give us a link to the instructions on how to do it. There are no instructions on how to link these two together. I often get frustrated with ATT technology. I never get upset with anyone elses. Your team needs to step down to our level and think of what tools and advice you would need if you were us.
Also. Just an fyi. my email account is the one I often mistake for my bill pay. And it is the one that keeps telling me I need to link the two. From what you just said, I should not be getting that message since I'm logging in with my email info.
Sorry if I sound frustrated, but you guys don't ever seem to have a clue as to what the real world is experiencing. You must be getting a lot of questions on this matter, because if the person above is experiencing this and I'm experiencing this, I doubt we are the only two who are.
Having said this and gotten my frustrations out. Can you solve our problem. How do we get that message to stop telling us to link our email account with our billing account?
