Need help from ATT about uverse in my neighborhood, we want service!

So i just moved into this house in March, its 2 years old, there are several hundred homes in this addition. The only service i can get i 3MB dsl. No cable is run here. Even though Cable is available about 1500ft from my house. I was doing some digging on uverse because i see the uverse boxes on the main street by my house. I looked up an address that is literally down the street and they have uverse avaialble. Who at ATT can help me, and my neighbors who have tried to petition Charter to provide us with service? Please help!

Call 800-288-2020 & ask for sales when the voice system asks or call 877-999-0788 and type in your telephone number. Inquire about Uverse. If they say it's not available in your area, have them create an Address Validation case to check.

i spoke with someone last week, the issue here is, when this neighborhood was built, it was pretty much not built out. There are ATT phone lines here, but for whatever reason, uverse was not extended here. Even though there are uverse boxes right down the street, and those houses are able to get uverse. I would think this would be a pretty easy problem to solve for ATT, i just dont think its been brought to the right peoples attention.

Well, Uverse expansion pretty much stopped at the end of 2011, might be a little expansion still in areas they are already in.

AT&T is scheduled to reach 30 million U-verse homes passed by the end of the year (2011) with their U-Verse service, or roughly 55-60% of their homes. They will virtually stop there according to President John Stankey speaking at Citibank, who announced 55-60% as their ultimate goal. He suggested that 25-30% of AT&T homes will only be offered ADSL. 20% are "not a heavy emphasis for investment," i.e. 5-10 million of AT&T's 50 million homes are screwed unless they have a decent cable alternative. (Yes, rounding means not necessarily equal to 100 %.)
