Ordered Uverse and have questions.

I ordered Uverse Internet/Voice on the 15th and after two emails on the same day I have not heard from ATT since. What bothers me is the activation date is 12/29, will I be paying the monthly charge for a whole two and a half days? When do you usually start to receive uverse papers/equipment from them after ordering and is a two week wait on activation normal?

Billing is not for a calender month. I think my billing runs from the 19th through the 18th, or something like that. Your first bill be more than a month, but less than 2 months, depending on when your service starts and your billing cycle dates.

The "Due Date" on my order summery changed from Dec 29 to Jan 19. Apparently yesterday because that's the last update and the only thing changed. Does this mean the activation date changed and why didn't I get an email or something, anything, notifying me of this?
