ATT' 's technical service response 'on the ground' (here in Florida at least) is the worst I have experienced by any company in 30 years. While the actual U-Verse TV and Internet product seems good, the company's ability to make timely repairs and to honor the repair time windows they offer, is beyond hopeless. I've had three appointments where no tech person has shown up (March 2012). This represents three separate days, each with a four hour window for the ATT tech appointment. The company appears to have no concern about wasting my time. I have never received a call to say the technician is not going to show up. After each appointment has 'timed-out' I have called and the client support desk issues another 'new' ticket, as if the old one never happened. So there appears to be an internal ATT policy where the issuing of appointments that are not kept, is never monitored.

Since you are having such trouble w/a tech showing up, I'd contact David and his tier2 team here:
Follow the directions under TROUBLES w/UVerse or install problems and hopefully they will solve your problem, let us know what happens. Good luck.
