I read somewhere that I wasn't the only one who has had problems logging into their account online. Is there anyone else? I am wondering if this is an issue most amongst U-verse members.
The problem:
When you try to log in online, it'll look like you are starting to log in to your account, but instead you are redirected to log in again. From there, it'll keep redirecting you to the log in page.
Attempted solution:
I called web support several times and explained the situation. Each tech tells me I have to reset my password; which I attempted prior to calling them. So I do as they asked- it made no difference. They check my account and they can log in without an issue, yet, they can't find the problem and can't seem to fix it. One tech went ahead and paid my bill since that was why I tried to log in. Yeah... turns out, I was never billed, so I will soon have a late payment. ![]()
Aside from the exhausting amounts of times these techs have made me reset my password, they eventually pawned me off by saying there is an internal issue on their end and it'll be fixed in a couple of hours. I waited a couple of days... yeah, still broken. What's worse? I tried logging in once (still got redirected), and ended up with 22 spammed e-mails from ATT in a matter of a 2 minute span.
Any suggestions? Mine is to fire the whole web tech team unless they actually know what they are doing... which I have yet to see.

I also haven't had a problem.
I pay my bill every month online and upgrade/downgrade my service and never had a problem.

You are not alone. I just got off another post where I and another ATT customer are having problems logging in. Except ours does not redirect us. It tells us we need to link our email with our billing account. I've been trying to get advice on this since I moved to my new home in 2009. No one has helped me since. They will take your payment over the phone but try to charge you for it until you complain about you shouldn't have to pay if it's their site that's messed up. Tech support at ATT has been jacked up for years. I also had trouble being double billed when I moved here. No one disengaged my other phone line in the other city I lived in so I was being double billed and didn't realize it because I was paying by mail when I first moved here where my other account was on auto pay. When I finally got around to registering this phone line, I found i'd been double paying without noticing the charges. It took me a year to get back 90 % of my money. ATT needs to be taken down again in my opinion. They were jacked up years ago until they were forced to break up the monopoly they had on phone service. Now they are going back to their old ways. Theyare getting to big to notice what they are doing wrong. The tech support sucks. They just don't care. Notcie how they tell you to go to someone else for help instead of knowing how to solve this themselves. I'm personally about ready to switch to cable or satelite.
