U-Verse -- Will it ever work?

I had U-Verse installed a few weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. Hours on the phone... multiple days waiting while tech support is at the house -- they even came on Sunday morning / holiday in April. However, the system still cycles on and off. Anyone have significant issues that eventually got fixed? I have little home it will ever get resolved and looking to cancel after today's appointment. Thoughts?

I understand what you mean. My service dies a few hours a day here and there. I called tech support and they scheduled me on a Sunday between the hours of 12 noon to 6pm. They could not make it to my home. Instead of rescheduling me the next available slot. They scheduled me 1 WEEK LATER, so now I have to wait til friday between the hours of 12noon to 4pm. Because I have nothing better to do, then find a day off from work to wait for the tech guy again.

OR you could follow the advise DIRECTLY above yours. Try contacting Alex, one of the AT&T Community Managers for further assistance. Someone will get back with you.
