Uverse internet service more up than down

Previous to having ATT uverse, I had DSL, and never have had as much trouble with the service as I do now. I never know when I will have a connection and I will not. I have had this service since Oct 2011, and have logged many calls to ATT service to fix. I have lived in my house for 26 years, and each time a technician comes out all they can say is the wiring is very bad in our area, but it is never fixed. What can we do the resolve the issue? I get tired of calling each time it goes down nor do I have the time. I would not have changed but you said it would be better, I only find it worse.

Same thing here. AT&T is the worst phone and internet I've ever experienced. I don't even attempt to use the internet at home, anymore. I get a "Welcome to nginx" message every couple minutes when my browser refuses to view any internet pages. Two technicians were absolutely no help it all.
AT&T sucks, basically
