Where can I file a complaint about the customer service?

 Does ANYONE have an actual complete URL or a good ol' snail mail address I could use to report what has happened to me?  The folks on the phone direct me to att.com and there is no place there to file a complaint.

I knew going into AT&T services that one tends NOT to need customer service, which is a good thing. (Stuff usually works)  I have rarely had any trouble with my service, which has included internet and land line.  When I recentlyn got UVERSE, I was hoping that I would not need customer service because AT&T has no "service" that way.  There is no helping a customer!  That I am very familiar with.  Where can I complain so at least I'm doing something to let someone know how bad it is????!!!! 

I was told by the agent and her supervisor to go to att.com/customerservice.  That led me to "Page not found."  Hmmmmm....

Anyone know?

Sending a PM to community managers is not 'filing a complaint'

Complaints about service (including false advertising, billing, service availability can be easily filed with Federal communications commission)

This has happened to me as well; from the condescending response from Indian techs to the placements on hold; I fear that my wanting to dump AT&T will go unanswered because they have created a system where getting simple customer support is nearly impossible. Obviously, I'm frustrated beyond belief. If you find an email where  I can lodge MY complaint...backed up by the almost $2,000. I give them yearly, let me know.....

The rest is this is pure venting 

  I just spent 50 minutes on the phone experiencing the same condescending responses , 4 (maybe 5) transfers, copious amounts of time on hold in order to get a refund I was told 3 1/2 months ago I would be receiving. In Sept. of 2011 I cancelled my 13 year old landline account with ATT and was told at that time I would be receiving a refund after my final billing.    After waiting 3 1/2 months for my refund, I called ATT  and what followed was truly a nightmare in customer service.  My final contact, Kashiff, supposedly a billing supervisor, told me in no uncertain terms that he would not process my request for MY REFUND unless I provided him with a phone number.  Not only do I question why my refund was not sent out automatically, I strongly object to the fact that they coerced me to get my current telephone number to process this refund.  I am beginning to wonder if this is a new ATT money grab....how many people simply forget they are due a refund or after being transferred several times, simply give up?

FYI, the FCC has little to do with any regulation of the way AT&T (or anyone else) conducts its customer service, billing, or procedures. The FCC deals with the rules and regulations concerning who can provide telecom services and where, and how those services (B2B) are conducted and charged for.

Consumer issues are much better referred to the FTC (if you are asserting that there is fraud) or the BBB.

Please someone help I have been waiting almost 2weeks for my service to be hooked up. I too have spent many hours on hold and been promised hundreds of times by supervisors that they will personally watch my acct to be sure it is turned on that day. This has been the worst experience and I would not recommend att to anyone. Then they say they will transfer me to another department only to be on hold for another 45min or they just disconnect me altogether. We have just moved out in the country so cell service is not great when I call and stay on hold for hrs I am standing in a corner trying to keep cell service also I sometimes work from home and can't even get my internet hooked up now I am 2weeks behind on work. So att u wanna compensate me for this. You should be ashamed of yourself for running a business this way. I am sick of the promises and apologies from You. You have ruined this relationship. I am in management and I am a strong believer in great customer service. I will be doing everything in my power to make the public know how terrible your service is just so some poor soul does not have to go through this as I have.

Let us know what means you take to make public aware of ATT's terrible customer service. I too have lot's of complaints.

AT&T is a public co. Listed on the stock market under the letter T.  If you go to any stock broker site or even Google AT&T Corporate Address it will return the address as well as all the officers of AT&T along with the board members.  So finding an address and contact information is not that difficult
