I am looking for help with getting U-Verse. My neighbor two houses away has it and has had it for about 3 months. An AT&T salesman came to my house today to offer to sell it to me. But, when we called AT&T we were told that we cannot get it in our area. I would really appreciate any help we can get.

YW. He's an employee and can check your address. The fact that neighbors so near to you have it, hopefully, it's just a system glitch.
Good luck!

I want to thank you for helping me out this week.
It appears things are all going in my direction.
We were just able to place an order and setup
an installation date.
I really appreciate your help.
Thank you

I live in Florida and have Direct and Dsl. Have been trying to get u-verse for 6 months. Recently the online check indicated u-verse service was available for me. Opened an order, had an install date, but the day before (Sunday) I received a phone call from someone identifying as an AT&T agent said I can't get u-verse service. This has happened twice. A second order was accepted by AT&T only to again be rejected the day before the install date.
I still have a record of the 2 install order numbers.
My next door neighbor has had u-verse for 4 months and we share the same telephone pole. The online check now indicates I do not have u-verse service. What gives here? Does anyone at AT&T know what they are doing?
How can I resolve this?

I also cannot get it per the website (including a research), however my address is surrounded by availabilities, including a shared telephone pole.
I messaged Alex.
Please let me know so I can order it.

Alex helped me but the Social manager who called our house did not know why I cannot get Uverse. He felt it was also very odd that 90% of my subdivision gets Uverse. My neighbor who uses the same pedestal in the backyard can get it, but I cannot get it. It remains a mystery. My guess is that it is probably just data entried incorrectly in the office. I need to stop a technician at a traffic light and have him follow me to my home, as I bet its wired and ready to go. My problem would be resolved if a pursued properly by AT&T and have a tech come out to check it out.

& is sounds like you think that is the end of it.
It should be just the beginning. If the contact is not finding out why & fixing it, send Alex another message.

I revisited that ATT website to check for uverse availabliity in our neighborhood, a week after the above post.
Now of 100% of the 46 homes in my neighborhood are posted as not being able to receive Uverse. So I opened a can of worms, and the worms died. Because of my diligence, the information has been updated. No one gets it. Some places are just not economically feasible to branch out to. After all, AT&T is an entertainment company, and does not want to bring in new customers into an old equipment driven business, let alone care anything about its current customers.
