Don't have the OU Tag, but I have enough OU Bling on my car that no one can call out my loyalty.  I'm not orginally from Texas I grew up about 40 miles from OU and even went there for a year back in 1986/87.  I spent 20 years in the Navy from 87 until 2007 and then moved to Dallas when I retired.   What's funny is it's not just OU that the tags are created for. I've seen just about every college available, but it probably raises the most ire due to the rivalry.

While I may not be from TX, I claim Oklahoma as my home state, but I do not always claim the small town I grew up in.  I graduated in 1986 and there were approx. 5000 unfortunate souls living in the town,  It's now 2012 and there are still about 5000 unforunate souls living in that town.

My mom asks why I didn't choose Oklahoma to move back to after I retired, and I told her, the job market, housing market, schools and the economy were the biggest reasons.  I still believe that.  That being said, I still bleed Crimson and Cream. BOOMER SOONER!
