Something strange going on. What is this?? [ Edited ]

WHAT the heck is this?  Today I'm seeing this "sig" tacked onto nearly everybody's posts....except my own:

EDIT:  OK.  I ran a MS security scan and found nothing.  Now I have booted up on IE-8 and those strange sigs. have disappeared.  BUT....so have everybody's special sigs, except for mine.  I'm wondering if those sigs that are generated by S.J.'s app. are the only ones affected.  Are they stored on his server?  I'm in over my head on this so someone else will need to figure it out.  Perhaps the new FF 4 has been hacked?  I tried accessing "The Dancezone.net" on IE-8 and got the same report that it could not be found.  I accessed the Internet cache and what came up was a web site called "Two Computer Dudes" or something like that.  There is a monkey wrench in the gears somewhere.   Any ideas from our experts????

EDIT 2:  I went to my desktop, which is still running FF 3.6+, and brought up the forum.  Same thing all the way...with most of the posts.   Has the forum been hacked or have I?

EDIT 3:  OK, I used my wife's Ipad to access this forum.  It uses Safari.  No message from FF but all of your special sigs are completely missing except mine.  My sig was not generated by SomeJoe's app.   I don't know if that means anything.  Otherwise everything looks normal.

I'm out of time.  Got other chores to take care of.  I leave this in someone else's capable hands.

I notified SJ earlier as I was seeing something similar; it usually means his server was down (or power outage), the one used to host the siggys.

Apparently AT&T's DNS server has a routing problem to the GoDaddy DNS server (where my domains are hosted).  AT&T's DNS server is unable to resolve those domain names.

If you want to, you can temporarily shift to use the OpenDNS servers (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220), or the Google public DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).  Both of them are resolving my domains just fine.

Sorry, nothing I can do about it.  When AT&T fixes their routing so that their DNS server works, then the sigs will load.

I also noticed it's hard to back out of a page in the forums, sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries before it responds, seems to have happened about the same time the sigs went out,  Any one else seeing this?

OK, S.J.   I'm back to using the open DNS.  I had been using open DNS for quite a long while.  But when I switched to Windows 7 on all three computers I forgot to go back and set them up this way.  They were all on automatic.  Fortunately I had printed out and saved hard copy of your previous instructions on how to do this.

Now the sigs are back on my PC's.   I wonder how I get them back on the Ipad.  Well....not really a big deal there because I rarely use it.  Belongs to my wife.

I really haven't noticed increase in speed but, then, I just made the switch.  I'll fix my desktop and her laptop tomorrow.  Time for me to hit the sack.

Looks like AT&T's DNS servers are resolving my domains again as of this morning.  So everyone's sigs should show up properly now.

 Yes. I reported this about 2 weeks ago. But at the time I think I was the only one having this problem because no one else posted thry saw it. Since upgrading to FF4 I don't see the problem with this forum when using FF4. I still see the problem using other browsers though.

Strange things continue to happen.  Yesterday and earlier today I was noticing long pauses when switching from one board to another and when posting.  Sometimes 10 to 15 seconds.  On a whim I reset from open DNS to automatic selection and now everything seems to be back to fairly normal speed.

So far, I'm flying this AM, but I'm on the 64-bit laptop using Wi-Fi.  Will check later with the Ethernet desktop.
