The latest batches of the Lumia 900 display produces purple instead of grey colors on low brightness. All phones in stock at my local store have this issue. Nobody seems to acknowledge the problem or know what to do about it.
To reproduce the problem, simply go to settings>brightness and turn off automatic brightness. Then change the brightness to low. The keyboard and anything that's supposed to be grey is now purple. Images are not reproduced accurately either.
If your keyboard stays grey on low brightness, your phone is fine.
Can anyone at AT&T acknowledge this issue and if there will be a patch issued? All I hear is Nokia is investigating.

From the Nokia Forums:
"Nokia has issued the following statement about the concerns expressed by some customers on this matter:
We have been made aware of an issue creating a pinkish tint to the display on some Nokia Lumia 900 units. This is a result of a complex interaction between the device’s advanced software and chipset. However, we have identified and are currently working on a software update that will remedy the issue for a future update. In the meantime, affected customers can address the situation by going to “settings” and then “brightness” on their device. Once there, users should turn “automatically adjust” to “off” and set the level to “medium.” This will restore the color to normal tones."
