Lumia 900 Won't Turn On

I had no issue with my new Lumia 900 until today, when I slipped it out of my pocket to find that it wouldn't turn on. I tried plugging the usb cord in, both connected to the computer and directly to the wall using the included adapter, both to no avail. I'm not sure if there's some combination of buttons to press for a hard reset, perhaps that little hole near the headphone jack does something of note? For the moment I'm kind of stumped :-\

Yeah, I had to hold down the power button for 20-30 seconds. It's happened daily now, strange...

This happened to me on the morning on the 8th. As I was going into mild panic, I attached it to my PC and it did give me the connection tone but the Zune application never launched. After rebooting the machine, and reconnecting the phone it fired up like nothing was wrong.

if this is happening daily, and you can prove it, then you should be able to get it replaced....if you can prove it that is

Try leaving the phone on charge with the Original Charger for over 30-60 minutes. And if it does not power on, unplug the charger and press the Power On Key... that should do it...
Remember to use the charger that came in the box...

To do a hard reset hold the vol down, power, and camera key at the same time. After it buzzes release the power button and hold down the other two for about 10 secs longer. Now you can turn it on normally.

FYI, mine never "buzzed", so I just let go of the power button after holding all three down for about 10-15 secs.

Kind of impossible to do it this way, if the phone doesn't turn on. That is why the OP was asking for a button combination would be my guess.

I held down my power button and it turned on, but it gets stuck on the 'REthinkPossible' screen for like ten minutes and then it doesn't turn on. i dont know what to do

My Lumia 900 magically stopped working tonight.  I've had it for less than 30 days.  I was in the middle of perusing the Marketplace and was downloading a new app when it happened.  Software is up to date.  So, I crawled out of bed and came to find you lovely helpful people! I held vol down, power, and camara down for about 5-10 seconds before releasing them (one of my finges slipped off).  After that, the phone vibrated.  I hit the power button again [like normal] and a "low battery" icon flashed on screen for just a moment.  My phone was at near full charge and had been on the charger for a few hours - so I know the battery wasn't low.  So, I plugged it into the computer it is synced to and hit the power button again.  It appeared to be restarting itself.  But I saw the battery warning flash again. 

Otherwise, it came on like normal and I still have a full charge.   All of my settings and such are still intact. So, if you're having problems, try what charlyee suggested!

I am having the same problem. But your solution does not seem to work for me. Do you have any other suggestions?

Yeah, which works just great when the phone won't power on.

The soft reset via buttons method (from http://www.nokia.com/us-en/support/product/lumia900/troubleshooting/?qt=reset&action=productFAQSearc...  is:

Restart your phone

If the phone hardware is jammed, you should first try restart your phone. This does not reset the Microsoft Account (Windows Live ID) or remove any consumer data.

Option 1: To perform the power reset for phones with integrated battery (phone has a special electronic circuit which switches off the power when the key combination is pressed):

1. Switch the power On (if possible) and disconnect the charger.
2. Press the Volume Down + Power Key and hold them for 15 seconds.
3. You will feel vibration.
4. Then press the Power key to switch on the phone
