Problems with 4th HTC Surround, AT&T CS Please Help!

I’ve been having issues with my replacement HTC Surround. I’m on my fourth Surround in under a year now, and it looks like this one is having problems just like the previous ones have had. The screen is starting to become unresponsive, rendering the phone useless (just like in the past), the camera closes itself randomly, and the GPS started to malfunction yesterday (switching between an area near my actual location to another continent). Sadly, it looks like this phone is going to have to be replaced as well.

I’ve already been to the device replacement stores but all they’ve done is given me refurbished phones. I was fine with it the first time, even the second time, but now this is starting to get annoying (between traveling back and forth to the replacement centers, having to reconfigure my phone so many times, not being able to receive calls/check emails and texts, etc.). I don’t know if it’s just my bad luck getting these defective phones or the devices themselves, but at this point, I just want a different phone that’s new, after considering my experience with these refurbished ones.

Has anyone ever had to deal with this many replacement phones? Will AT&T actually give me a new phone that’s similar to the Surround, like another WP7 device? I’d appreciate it if anyone could let me know, thanks.
