Tango for LG QUANTUM

Us, phone owners have been waiting for the update to tango. until we wait?  Is a lack of respect with customers.

I hate to say it, but lg quantums may not get the update. Even the Wi-Fi trick doesent work, and I've been trying it since 10:00 last night.

It seems that our only hope is that they're rolling tango out by device. So far the only updates that have been pushed out by att willingly have been to the Focus. I've so far heard that not even the lumia 900 has gotten the update without being forced.

I just got off the phone with LG support.

 He tells me 8773 has been tested  finalized and released to AT&T.

 Now we wait.

Thank God!!!! If anything I want the 8107 since the disappearing keyboard because its been getting worse over the past few weeks.

Only the Focus S and Focus Flash are recieving Tango. AT&T has not released it for the original Focus.

When I said Focus, I ment the entire Focus family. I have heard of a few updates being pushed out to the original Focus

M/$ sold us that carriers can only skip 1 update. They skipped 8107.

Any bets AT&T will be again the last carrier on the planet to let us have the update?

I wouldn't take that bet if it was the only game in town.  And unlike other carriers, AT&T will probably only allow it for 2nd gen.

1. No update in Chicago for my Surround or Titan or Titan II.

2. The have been omniously silent because they don't care if we're happy.  They've proven that time and time again.  The fact that they WON'T even address it with a yes/no or an ETA shows that being the "PREMIER PARTNER" is only a couple of words with no meaning.

that's just the device specific firmware that happened after 7720. It's not an OS update.

the only reliable information is that the Quantum will receive the Tango upgrade; but, there is zero information available, even to CS supervisors, about when that will happen. I encourage everyone (especially business customers) to very politely register their complaints with supervisors in customer service. As more and more complaints get sent up the ladder, the gears may turn a bit more quickly. There really is no excuse for the lack of information about this release.

I talked to Darren  from the Office of the President of AT&T Wireless  about one hour ago He said he will look into it.

 He will call me back he has been real good about this in the past

Not to be rude, but was there a whole lot of talking to people from the "Office of the President" during the 8107 dispute? And all we got was a so far empty promise of tango.

I honesty think that AT&T is trying to tank Windows Phone.  iOS gets updated from Apple.  Android updates are happening pretty quick on AT&T.  Windows Phone - no updates at all and they have nothing to do with them.  Do you think Android users would be tolerant if they were treated as poorly as we are?  

Their obvious ignoring of us and the situation proves how awful of a company they are.  There is no excuse for all of the lies and non-existent support.

I know but we never got a promise of Tango what we got was a commitment of a 7,5 refresh. AT&T has  said from the start they will not send out Tango but instead their release will be the 7.5 refresh.
