I got Lumnia 900 in the US at AT&T and I want to use it in Europe on a different carrier.
I was wondering if it is possible to get an unlock code for this phone as I will not use it on AT&T network.
Does anybody have similar experience with Lumnia 900???
I also can't get in touch with AT&T customer care as I can't link my Account I created for customer care to none of AT&T accounts as I don't have any.
I would really be glad if anyone could help me with this issue.

AT&T likely will not unlock the phone as it's exclusive to AT&T.

I think that exclusive period is over as the phone is available all around the world with different providers.
I would just like to have an option to ask AT&T if they can provide an unlock code for me.
I wanted to do it using emails but it look like I will have to phone their customer support to get in touch with them.
I think that if I bought the phone with no commitment and I want to use it outside US that they should provide the unlock code for my phone.

Thank you for that information. Although this means that my phone will be unusable for another month. I would like to have it working before than that.
How does one get the unlock code from AT&T. As I mentioned the only way to get in touch with them is by phone as I have no accounts with AT&T so I cannot contact the customer care using email or any other way trough the Internet.
