I had U-Verse installed 2+ years ago. It has worked well until recently. I have the silver 2 wire modem. I received a new modem and set it up. TV works fine but I lost my internet connection. I am using an older OS-Windows 2000. I spent hours this week on the phone w/ technicians, but no one can help me. I can't just run out and buy a new computer, so what's a girl to do? Surely there is a way to get around this problem. By the way, I had to set up the old modem to post on this site. Please help.

Hi,
I need some information first:
What are the model numbers of the modems(working/not working)?
Did a technician come out to help you install the new modem?
Are you trying to connect wirelessly?

Hi Justin F,
I appreciate your response to my post. I had to have a technician come to the house. He identified all my problems and corrected several wiring problems. He was great!!!! I was wired with coax, he ran the proper wiring, added a filter for the phone, etc. He renewed my faith in AT&T. I was ready to change services. He saved the day for AT&T!!
I had spent hours and hours this week on the phone w/ support and they couldn't help.
I tried to find my post yesterday to mark it -resolved but being a newbie on this site, I couldn't find it. lol
This is a great idea to have this site. Thanks.
