I've had my Atrix for a while and I have enjoyed a lot of free apps from Android Market. So I've decided to purchase a couple and bill to my ATT account because I thought that you could. Well apparently you can't. I don't have that option when I go to check out. So I contacted ATT yesterday via live chat and they told me yes I should be able to do that and to contact the Android Market. So I contacted Android Market and that said to go back and contact ATT. So can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

According to the Android Marketplace's help info you should see that option after you click "buy". Here's link to the FAQ for carrier billing: http://support.google.com/androidmarket/bin/answer
Unfortunately I don't have an Android phone to test with but I know AT&T is a supported carrier so I'm not sure why you're not seeing the option to bill it to your mobile account.
Are you still able to download free apps without issue?

Yes I can download free apps with no problem. I sent an email to market support and they told me to speak with ATT. I had told them in the email that ATT told me they supported it. Sigh maybe no one likes the Atrix?

Sorry to hear about your situation.
Android Market does allow direct carrier billing but unfortunately, not all devices are supported. If your device is supported, you should see the option after selecting "BUY" as mentioned before.
Hope that helps!

AT&T chat support said it was supported but I think I'm going to have to call customer service when I get a chance and find out from them. If it doesn't work then I guess I'm out of luck or buying a pre-paid visa card if I want something bad enough.

I have the same issue. It used to work, but a customer rep put the purchase blocker on my line in error. Since then, I cannot bill to carrier. Even after the purchase blocker was removed, it still doesn't work. When I put my sim card in my sister's atrix it doesn't work either. So, it has something to do with my line as she is able to bill to carrier from her atrix with her sim. She can also purchase from my atrix with her sim card inside my phone.

Add me to the list of people no longer able to buy anything from Google Play. I am using a Galaxy Skyrocket S2 and I can no longer bill my carrier AT&T. It gives me the option to "Add a Card" which I believe is a direct link to the Google system but I am not going to give anyone direct access to my life savings if my data gets stolen from Google.
