I read that Internet/MEdia Net is data - like using the internet on your phone. But I was wondering if that means using instant messaging?
What all does this include for the data - email checking? IMs?
TIA!

Rule of thumb: If its not a phone call or a text message it uses data.

It's been a long time since i have not had a non smartphone, but there were phones that had built in instant messaging that used texts instead of data. I'm not sure if there are some that still do that.
