I was six days late on paying my phone bill, just from pure forgetfulness. It was the first time I had been late on the payment. When I went to pay it online, there were two different figures on the "Amount Due" screen. There was one in red which which "Immediatley Due" and the amount correctly reflected the monthly charges which I normally incur and the amount matched the PDF of the phone bill. But there was a second amount "Total Due" that was more than double my normal phone bill. The bill for the month of April had not yet been posted, and I had paid February's bill on time and in full. Why did my March bill, even though the PDF bill reflected one amount, have a different total payment due? There was no explanation on the bill, or on my account explaining why I had essentially been charged double. Judging by the research I had done, the late fee would be 1.5% of the bill or 5 dollars but that it would show up on the following month's bill. Will someone please explain to me why there was a 200% increase in my bill?

The total amount due has to be for 2 bills, usually you new bill's amount is visible online days before you get the bill, call Customer Care to verify.
