I was successfully able to quote with the last post I typed, along with this one, now. I am using an iPhone 3GS in the Full version, obviously.

What web browser are you using? I assume you're using a Mac?

I thought I would come back and clarify with you that I did have the quote issue you were describing a little earlier. I got the same error message you reported when I was trying to quote while responding to a private message. Sorry that the picture is tilted sideways... I rotated it on my Samsung Android phone but it didn't seem to save.

Working fine for me. I'm on Chrome btw.

Safari 5 on Mac OS 10.7, and it's working now. No idea!

I got that error a couple weeks ago and submitted a ticket for it. They weren't able to reproduce the issue though, so the ticket was closed.
I haven't seen it again myself, but it sounds like there's something up.

I tried to quote again to a post this time and got the same exact error message using my Captivate instead of my iPhone this time.

Does this only happen on the mobile version of the site?

Let me rephrase - does this ever occur when you're accessing the site from a computer? ![]()

Hello Wild Banchi,
So if I am reading this correctly, the problem only occurs when using the full communtiy version on your Captivate and iPhone - right?
Which mobile browsers are involved?

The iPhone is using iOS 4.2, I believe. The Captivate is using a version of Google Linux with FroYo 2.2.

Does the quote feature work for me? Edit: Yes it does with the stock browser in Android 4.0.2 on a smartphone. Also I have seen that error before. I think it was on my other smartphone running Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4) and using the Dolphin Browser.

Hmmm...I couldn't find a quote option on my Nexus S so I actually just discovered how to highlight and copy/ paste. ![]()
