Hi everyone,
In case you didn't see the announcement, the community got a nice new redesign last night with some great new changes.
If you have any questions/comments regarding these, please post in this thread.
Thank you. ![]()

The unread thread titles are not bold. This happened with the last forum update. Can the unread thread titles return to the bold font?

Hello,
What browser/version are you using?
I'm not seeing a issue here, I see the unread subjects showing up as bold.
An example is here:
Thanks!

Firefox 3.6.16. It showed up correctly this morning, but later in the day it went to all thread titles not being in bold font.

Well the forum certainly is BLUE everywhere. Even in the mobile version. Otherwise, no issues yet.
Well, AT&T DOES have a blue and white logo, does it not?
The Mobile version looks just like the Verizon Wireless Community's Forum. I was almost afraid to visit this site in the "Full" version...luckily, it does not look bad and has a very clean and modern edge to it. What I really pay attention to, though, is the main "Wireless Community" page. I will go there within the next ten minutes.
The only problem I MIGHT experience is that the "Kudos" badge is located very close to the "Reply" button. While it is easier for users to give kudos, I'm just afraid that other users or myself especially might hit the kudos button instead of "Reply". I have already done it by accident, thinking that the "+" button was the ability to add a tag to a post. I can't seem to find the option to add tags to posts?
*EDIT* I suppose there is no option to add tags in this section of the Forum? I am able to add them elsewhere in other sections.

I still miss the "Mark all Posts read" link on the main wireless forum page. It also would be nice if the "mark all posts read" in the sub-wireless forum section would move up higher on the page. It is getting tiresome to scroll ALL the way down to the bottom of the page.

Hey Ann154,
Although Wireless does not specifically have a "mark all posts read", we do have a Mark All Posts in Community as Read located on the main page. Also you can mark each board separately as well by visiting - Board Options -> Mark all as Read.
Hope this helps!

Is this happening for you?
I just tested on Firefox 3.6.16 and I see bold and unbold depending if they are unread or not.
If it's still happening can you please post a screenshot?
Thanks.

It was only recently that I figured out that the main forum page has the option to mark all posts read. I rarely go there either. The U-verse and Internet forum don't apply to me and most likely never will. They are not available here.

Hello Pamelaz.
Here is a screenshot of what my board looks like now:

Here is a screenshot on a page that I have not refreshed since Friday morning.

If these images don't show up correctly, please tell me how to do screenshots and post in the forum.

No, my settings look the same. I don't see a setting to change for threads with unread posts.

I appreciate that you tried to help.
This happened with the last forum change, and I didn't have to do anything to get it to go back to marking threads with unread posts in bold lettering, but wait a few days. I hope that it is the same this time, and I just need to be patient!

Yeah, I don't know why weirdness happens with upgrades. ![]()

I just went in to my settings and changed my font size from small to medium, and now I have the bolded thread titles again! I don't know why this worked, as I had changed my font size (or tried to) after the last forum update, but had not touched it since then.
Thanks for your patience and help. ![]()

Organize topic alphabetically so it makes it easier for the customer to find the topic they're having trouble solving rather than have to got through 200xxx post's.
i.e., Phones / Samsung / a777 > then any and all questions and solutions will be listed unter the model of the phone one has. If other agree, let them know so it will get done.

You can go up to the top of the page and search for whatever you want, just under the orange bar, on the right side of the page.

OOORRRRRR, they could organize by device like was suggested. Searching from that bar will search the board for what you entered in and could possibly find your search terms in posts completely unrelated to what you want to know. I'm wondering why they felt it necessary to lump all android devices together instead of how it was before. HeII I'd rather the posts be grouped by at least the manufacturer. At least that way you actually have a better chance at finding what you are looking for.
Android as an OS is one thing if you have a general question pertaining to how it works, but most questions here are going to be a specific device with a specific version of android that can be completely different from other devices.

You can't but the mods can. If there is a post you want moved, go to options>notify moderator and type in a message to ask them to move it.
What did you want moved?? Your post about the $25 rate plan?? I'll notify the mod for you to move it to Prepaid...is that ok??
