I think you don't get the fact that this board is owned and run by att. First amendment doesn't apply here just like it doesn't apply in the school systems they can limit speech as they please really.... isn't that sad...

Guess this forum can be helpful after all.
choscheid wrote:The issue is indeed the wildcard certificate your IT department put ont he Exchange 2007 server, and the fact that WM5 doesn't support wildcard certs. The supported method from MS was to get a certificate that supported Subject Name Alternatives, which not only give all the features needed for Ex07, but also are fully supported on WM5. Now give, MS didn't make these certs easy to get as you can either publish one yourself internally with an MS Windows CA, or you can buy then from either of two Third party certificate providers that support Subject Name Alternatives. Some people are upset that MS mandated subject name alternatives, but with so much of their software needing encryption not only internally, but also for thier outward facing components, it became neccessary.Your IT department can purchase a cert from either Entrust.com or from Verisign (if they use Verisigns Trusted PKI service). If the IT department made the mistake of requesting the cert you have via IIS, instead of through the Exchange Management Shell, getting on of these certs will fix a number of issues you may or may not notice are evening happening. And sorry to go all geek on yall, like some others here, I work at a MS Gold partner and do this all day...

Wow, clearly 15 percent of the English language is forbidden here and subject to censorship. Where does it say in the guidelines that one can not refer to any religious word or words regardless of meaning? If I’m wrong, please point out where in the guidelines this topic is located, other then “the right to remove or limit” I see no reference in the guidelines that would even suggest that certain specific religious word or words are forbidden. In addition, I see no reference to this topic in the “Terms Of Use” agreement either. Again, if wrong, please point this out. Finally, reading through the “Acceptable Use Policy” I find no reference to this issue there either.
AT&T – careful, this is a First Amendment issue, that appears to be violated.
Unbelievable.

Thank you for your expert opinion of the First Amendment. I will refrain from any further comments for fear that any misinterpreted word or words may offend. Furthermore, I see clearly where I missed the Religious references in all of your legal guidelines, I apologize.
So, back on topic - wah wah wah, where is my WM 6 – you owe it to me ![]()

From what I've seen 11/14 is the BJ update and 11/19 is BJII (Source HoFo). Since that doesn't make sense to me being that update is being released before the BJII i'd say sometime this week. If not this then definately next week.

Now if I could only edit spreadsheets, docs, and databases. ATT we are waiting for the promised software so we can do our jobs. Would you please do your job and release it. For us that use Exchange servers we give a rats rump about Good Messaging. If you can't get it to work, may I suggest disabling it and release WM6. Then when you do find a fix to Good Messaging, release an update for those that need it. Please take a hard look at how many user really need Good Messaging vs those that don't. It doesn't make since to not release WM6 because of one 3rd party program bug.

I will ask the moderators again...in order to make it easier for us, your paying customers, to read info specific to only our devices, can we please have one WM6 thread in the Palm forums and one WM6 thread in the Blackjack forums? Since you can lock any new WM6 threads that come up, this means you should only have 2 threads to monitor. Surely that can't be any more difficult than monitoring this runaway train.
Why not?
