Help Me! I don't know where to go with this. For two weeks I have gotten cell phone calls all day and night from people who have been given my number by 411. Calls have been for University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Consumer Cellular, Crawford Companies, Highland Park Emergency Room, etc., etc.
How do I get my number out of 411 Information Directory. And, I'm thinking there are many 411 systems dependant upon the caller's carrier.
I called AT&T and the guy had no idea how to handle my request! I called Wireless. Any advice is appreciated.

I feel your pain, my landland number got entered into Wells Fargo Financial's agent list as a fax machine number and it took me over 6 months to get that corrected.
The fastest method of fixing this may not be the most palatable - get a free number change from ATT, not sure how tied you are to your phone number
